UNION_CPS8 reports whether or not the individual belonged to a union, or if not, whether he/she is covered by a union or employee association contract.

UNION_CPS8 was collected at the time of the final CPS interview, 2-5 months before the ATUS interview. Union affiliation was not updated at the time of the ATUS interview.

2003-2010: Employed CPS household members, excluding those who are self-employed.
