Description
WBTYPICAL indicates what respondents thought about yesterday as a whole compared to a typical day. Respondents rate their feelings, both good and bad, compared to a typical day. They can indicate if they were better than a typical day of the week, the same as a typical day of the week, or worse than a typical of the week.
These data were collected as part of the Well-being Module of the ATUS interview. Research using this variable without activity-level quality of life data should apply WBWT as the weight in analyses; research using this variable in conjunction with activity-level quality of life data should use AWBWT for analyses.
