Description

DIETSODA indicates whether the soft drink(s) consumed (SODA) by the Eating and Health Module respondent was diet, regular, or both. This variable is only available for respondents who responded "yes" to drinking SODA.

This information was collected as part of the Eating and Health Module of the ATUS interview. Analyses that include DIETSODA should use EHWT as the weight.

This variable is comparable across years.

Universe

Respondents who drank soda yesterday.
