IPUMS has now created HHRHID2_CPS8 for users as an alternative to using HRSAMPLE_CPS8, HRSERSUF_CPS8, and HUHHNUM_CPS8. HRHHID2_CPS8 and related technical variables are needed to link these data with the Current Population Survey data that is not yet offered through our system.
