Description
RETIRED indicates whether or not the individual is retired. This variable is the result of a check to confirm that the individual is still retired, as was reported in an earlier interview.
RETIRED was collected at the time of the ATUS interview. Information on retirement was also collected at the final CPS interview, 2-5 months before the ATUS interview. See RETIRED_CPS8.
