Description
RETIRED_CPS8 indicates whether or not the individual is retired. This variable is the result of a check to confirm that the individual is still retired, as was reported in an earlier wave of the survey.
RETIRED_CPS8 was drawn from the final CPS interview, conducted 2-5 months before the ATUS interview. Information on retirement was also collected at the ATUS interview. See RETIRED.
