Description

SCHLCOLL reports whether the respondent was enrolled during the previous week in school, high school, or college/university, and, if so, whether they were enrolled full- or part-time. College or high school students who were currently on holiday or seasonal vacation were to answer yes, but those not taking classes during summer vacation were to answer no.

SCHLCOLL was collected at the time of the ATUS interview. Information on school enrollment was also collected at the time of the final CPS interview, 2-5 months before the ATUS interview. See SCHLCOLL_CPS8.
