Description
WHYLEFT_CPS8 reports the main reason an individual not currently in the labor force, but employed at some point during the previous 12 months, left his/her previous job.
WHYLEFT_CPS8 was drawn from the final CPS interview, conducted 2-5 months before the ATUS interview. Reason for leaving last job was not updated at the time of the ATUS.
Universe
- CPS household members age 15+ who are not disabled and not in the labor force but who have worked in the past 12 months.
