Description
FDTHERM indicates whether respondents who usually prepare meals or split meal preparation equally with someone else in the household (MEALPREP) and who have prepared meat during the past seven days (MEAT) have used a food or meat thermometer when preparing any meals with meat, poultry or seafood in the past seven days.
This variable was gathered during the Eating and Health Module. Analyses that include FDTHERM should use EHWT as the weight.
Universe
- Respondents who usually prepare meals or split it equally with other household member(s), and who have prepared any meals with meat, poultry, or seafood in the past seven days.
